Bruno Medeiros, the General Manager of Yakima Social Kitchen + Bar, brings with him fifteen years’ experience in premium casual dining establishments. Growing up in Brazil, his cultural background has contributed to Bruno’s flair for international cuisines, along with his fluency in Portuguese, English and Spanish. His Passion for exploration has brought him to 52 countries, spending extended-stays in Brazil, France, the United States, the United Kingdom and now, Canada.
As a graduate of Tourism and Hospitality Management, Bruno loves interacting with guests, and feels accomplished when he can make someone’s day with his exemplary service. Just last year, Bruno was the recipient of the Global Event Management Service Award and the White Hat Award as best Host/Maitre D’. To unwind after a long day, you can find Bruno enjoying a Chinook Gin and Tonic or a Love Caipirinha at the Yakima Social Kitchen + Bar.
Our executive chef Kai Cronsfoth originally from Germany, started his career in 2001 in his hometown of Bad Neuenahr – Ahrweiler, Germany. Progressive positions in restaurants and hotel kitchens from Europe to the Caribbean have provided Kai the foundation for a bright future in the culinary world. Kai’s menus are inspired by local ingredients and global cuisines. No stranger to fine dining he has worked in Michelin starred restaurants and delights in presenting dishes that will challenge diners. He has prepared elegant culinary creations for Royalty and Celebrities. Kai is now making his North American debut in Calgary, Alberta.
